Prevent metal staining and scale build-up

It is important to treat the build-up of scale as well as the stains caused by metals. Water filled with metals can damage pool equipment and can create costly damage as well as being harmful to the swimmer. The water can also become cloudy due to high calcium levels.


Sparkle up:

Tiny particles of suspended dirt, plaster dust, dead algae,pollen, etc. may pass right throught the filter. Sparkle up will trap these particles in the filter and will rapidly retore sparkle to cloudy water. Using the Pool Magnet Plus product in conjunction with Sparkle up will help remove the last traces of metals and prevent stains on pool surfaces.

• Aids in removal of copper and iron to prevent metal staining.

Instructions:

1. Make sure filters and skimmer baskets are clean.
2. Mix the required amount in a bucket of clean water.
3. Add the mixture slowly to the skimmer while the pump is running.
4. Follow the final steps listed below depending on your filter type:

Sand filter:

1. Backwash the filter 24 hours later.
2. If necessary, repeat the treatment to make the water perfectly clear.

Cartridge filter:

1. Clean the cartridge when the pool water becomes clear or when the filter pressure reaches the maximum recommended by the filter manufacturer.
2. If necessary, repeat the treatment to make the water perfectly clear.
