Does cleaning my filter really make that much of a difference?
Yes! Having a clean filter makes a significant impact on the quality of your pool’s water. A clean filter allows for proper filtration which is essential to achieving and maintaining safe, crystal clear water.
Filter Brite:
Controls scale and rust as it removes oils and greases from the filter. It promotes cleaner, clearer water as a result of improved filtration, longer filtration cycles and reduced maintenance costs. Filter brite should be used twice each season.

Instructions:
SAND FILTERS:
- Backwash the filter.
- Close the pump.
- Return dial valve to the normal position.
- Remove the strainer lid on the pump.
- Dissolve a complete pouch of Filter Brite in a 20 L bucket of clean water.
- Add the solution to the strainer basket and turn the pomp on
- When the strainer is empty (approximately 4 to 5 seconds), turn off the pump.
- Replace the lid to allow the product to work undisturbed.
- Wait at least 6 hours.
- Thoroughly backwash after to remove debris.
D.E AND CARTRIDGE FILTERS:
- Remove elements from the filter.
- Rinse off the debris.
- Pour the Filter Brite product into a 20 L bucket of clean water.
- Soak the filter for at least 6 hours.
- Replace the filter and resume normal operation.
